Medicaid Resources

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the federal government declared a public health emergency on January 27th, 2020. This allowed Texas to provide you with continuous Medicaid coverage. Based on new federal law, continuous Medicaid coverage will end on March 31, 2023. HHSC will reach out to you when it’s time to renew your coverage.
